We are committed to providing therapeutic in-home care to our clients in a safe and supportive environment enabling them to live with dignity and respect regardless of age, gender and socio-economic abilities.


At Contentment Social Services, we foresee an obligation to the community as a provider of

PERVASIVE DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS (PDD)

The mission of this program is to provide therapeutic support to youths/adults with developmental disabilities enabling them to live with dignity and respect, be inculcated with pride and awareness, connectivity and self-worth and maintaining an exceptional level of independence in quality living.

Adults who have developmental disability want more choice and control over their lives. They can live independently with the right and supports. We identify community based programs such as recreation, sports, small group meetings, and other resources that best suite out clients need.

CSS will provide accommodation for individuals who require a specialized care and supervision that which a family or community cannot provide. The support will be available for both male and female with PDD or AISH status who have met the specific criteria and has been identified as requiring supportive living.

CSS is committed to providing a high quality of support in a safe living environment for its clients. to achieve this, an assessment and client matching for every individual is conducted before being enrolled in the program

WELLNESS PROGRAM

CSSF designs a wellness plan that promotes healthful practices of an individual that would contribute to their enrichment and meaningful inclusion in the community; physical, emotional, and mental well-being and. through physical, emotional and mental health.

The wellness program includes:

  • Stress Management
  • Emotional Coping Mechanisms
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Nutritional Awareness


Daily Support Systems:

  • Medical Administration
  • Meal Preparation
  • Transport Services
  • Recreational Activities
  • Behavioral Support Techniques

FETAL ALCOHOL SPECTRUM DISORDERS (FASD)

SPECIALIZED INDIVIDUAL CARE (SIC)

A program designed for individuals (age’s 3-over) who are either diagnosed or suspected to have diagnoses of FASD. 24-hour support will be provided to clients based on the assessed need of the individual. CSS will work with the client or their guardian (s) through meetings and constant communication to review existing issues, simultaneous planning to ensure that the needs of the individual are met. The SIC will be developed in 30 days after client admission to the program; this is subject to review every 3 months.

Key elements of SIC include:

  • Establishing a routine to ensure consistency
  • Implement tasks is based on clients ability to achieve set objectives
  • Identify strengths that can be further developed by using community resources
  • Specifically identifying and describing concerns that needs be addressed, and goals required to resolve client issues
  • Offering rewards to identify progress towards and when the goal has been achieved.
